We're moving north to Annapolis via Georgia. Had a late start on July 26th due to weather. Was run out of the channel by a very large cargo ship. The wind died. We had to motor a lot. Headed to Ponce De Leon Inlet and was hit by a squall. Got stuck on a sandbar and was towed to freedom.
The next day we made it to Jacksonville. Great transient dock but a tremendous current. In fact the captain managed to scratch the hull when leaving. Karen did some sunbathing and dancing.
Lights, Sailing, Dancing
This time on Sailing Intermission, Steve added some extra lighting in the salon. You can never have too much light on a boat. We went sailing in some light winds…still fun! Karen’s newest tattoo is healing nicely. Worked on our Force 10 stove, made a great shrimp recipe and naturally, we did some dancing.
