Freedom is oxygen for the mind, body and soul.
“Our culture made a virtue of living only as extroverts. We discouraged the inner journey, the quest for a center. So we lost our center and have to find it again.” ― Anaïs Nin

Strengthening the muscles that support your lower leg, foot & ankle will help keep your ankle joint stable. Keeping these muscles strong will relieve foot & ankle pain, further preventing injury & promoting lower limb health & stability.
Training your feet is critical for both strength and speed gains. Strong feet play a key role in anything you do standing, helping you drive through your stride and providing a sturdy base.

I’d like to start by thanking you for being here, you beautiful human – and by reminding you that You Are Awesome! Life is one hell of a ride. It can be tough, sad, unfair, chaotic and confusing at times, but it’s also breathtakingly beautiful and worth it.
I started my Instagram page and YouTube channel – Open Hearts Can Unite – about 9 years ago with the intention of having a space to express myself from the heart in a world where that can feel tough to do. I have been blown away by the following that it has attracted, and I’m immensely grateful for the incredible engagement and daily interaction that I now have. Having gone through some tough times, I never expected to be online teaching people to get fit from the inside out. To be honest, after having a kid I struggled in all sorts of ways and I never thought I’d wear a bikini again even in the privacy of my own back yard, never mind be happy to share so much of myself online. But I have come to realize that this was just one of many limiting beliefs that I had taken on from society around me. Now more than ever I realize that I can do anything I want to do and be anything I want to be. And so can you!
My Naked Truth Statement
I’m Rhy
I’m a yoga teacher and wellbeing consultant
I taught myself pole dancing
I have experienced abüse, been räped and tried to commit süicide
I lost a kid
I have a beautiful daughter
I post regular photos and videos of myself online, with commentaries on life, love and yoga
I view my body as a gift and don’t feel that clothes should define us
My images, with or without clothes, are about art and freedom
My heart hurts from all the judgement in the world
I wish I could fix it so my daughter didn’t have to experience this hatred
It’s hard being misunderstood in my yoga and fitness
The judgement can be overwhelming but all I can do is show my journey and let others share theirs
I used to be terrified of being my true self – honest and vulnerable
But I’d rather be judged for my truth than for something “perfect” that’s not who I really am
And this is just part of my story...
My Naked Truth Statement reminds me that I’m so many different things: a yoga teacher and a mom, an Instagrammer and a YouTuber, and a person who – like most of us – has experienced pain and heartbreak, as well as incredible joy and love. Essentially, I’m just a woman who’s trying to do her best, and I want to share with you the discoveries I’ve made along the way.
A bit about me
I was born in Hobart, Tasmania. I’ve always loved health and fitness – I started walking at 9 mnths and never stopped moving from there! I played water polo and swam for Tasmania, and competed in track events at the Pan-Pacific Games, before becoming a fitness director. Today, I run a range of online wellness programmes.
But while I’m in a good place now, I’ve been through some dark times.
Why do I practise yoga?
People often ask me why I practise yoga. I don’t practise the poses alone; I practise the breath. Yoga means ‘union’, with the mind acting as a bridge between body and soul. The breath becomes a tool for calming the thoughts, and bringing the body and mind back into balance.
In 2015, I was living in Saudi Arabia and struggling like hell with depression. It was hard being thousands of miles away from home, while I tried to figure out this thing called motherhood. I felt lost and overwhelmed. Then I discovered yoga, which literally saved my life and soul. Now I am here, a few years later, doing more than I thought possible – happier than ever.
If you follow me online, you’ll know I want everyone to discover how enjoying movement and being comfortable in your mind and body aren’t unattainable or unrealistic goals. Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body, their mind and soul, whatever their level of fitness.
When people first started asking me to write a book, share my art online and yoga and workouts, I wasn’t sure. But the more I thought about it, the more I could see the value in sharing the lessons I’ve learned from my experiences. I decided to get out of my own way and talk honestly about them in the hope that this might help people who are going through similar things.
How can I help you?
My shares are not a how-to handbook to achieving the perfect asana (yoga pose) or a guru’s guide to enlightenment. You’ll find no rules or prescriptions. I’m keen for voice and shares to act like stepping stones, inviting you on a journey of self-discovery – to get out of your head and into your body and heart. To find whatever it is that makes you feel fit, open, vibrant, contented and free.
It’s a journey that might take you to some challenging places along the way to finding your truth, but it’s better to be judged for your truth than something that you don’t believe. Truth is vulnerability: it is a state of epic courage and ultimate strength and I thank you for being here.
For more of my workouts and art join me at P@treon link in socials. You know why I cannot share a link or write the word. As OF blocks it. You know why I cannot share bikini yoga on my Youtube because youtube would give me a strike and take down my youtube. Behind every one story we have about others is another story and much of the world is stopping us from being human in some way shape or form. So I am here to learn how to be human between it all and share it with you and hope it helps you all to do the same imperfect stands for Im perfect when we break life down and make the best of it.
I hope you will enjoy dipping into all I share in any order you like, whenever you are looking for a little inspiration. In message and post or share, you will find special features and quotes to help you experience some of the key ideas and suggestions. Feel free to work with these in the way that best suits you.
Fitness and health isn’t really about practising things like yoga or physical health: fitness begins with our minds. It starts inside. Creating fitness from the inside out means choosing the actions that serve us. It means letting go of conditioning and showing up for our dreams. We can’t change our world and the world around us without first winning the war inside.
Dedicate yourself to you
My answer to anyone looking to change their lives or get fit is self-discipline. While self-discipline can seem like a difficult word, it’s about self-love, happiness, peace and making our dreams come true.
Thank you for joining me Blessings Rhy
The most obvious benefit of Hanumanasana is opening up the hip flexors. This small group of muscles near the front of your hips affect the movement of your knee, upper legs, and pelvic area.
Your hips are at the base of your spine and therefore their flexibility has an effect on your entire body. Tight hip flexors can lead to low back pain, poor posture, glute pain, and even neck tightness.
Practicing the splits can drastically improve your hip mobility for more fluidity and less pain in your daily movement.

I feel like I’m training on top of the world here in Bangkok.
Tight hamstrings are another very common complaint amongst yogis, athletes, or people who spend a lot of time sitting. These long muscles run along the back of your legs from the upper thigh down to the calf.
Regularly stretching out your hamstrings and working toward the splits could help relieve knee pain, back pain, foot pain, and/or issues with your posture. New workout yoga up join me and start your week right on P@treon link in socials

What is your hardest flexibility pose you've accomplished so far? What did you find difficult about it?
This year has been an interesting year. I’m still negotiating a new country, Thailand. I’m continually in a place of discomfort & growth. As I parent a 10 year old. I’m continually in unknown waters of knowing the right things to do or say & realising how much I need to work on myself.
I have dealt with financial hardships like most & continue to do so. Sadly the retreat I was going to do is no longer possible. We have had to cancel and another project I was working on.
I also have been healing form a major injury. At the beginning of this year I turned my head & injured my neck. I lost my ability to handstand, press, chinstand & push up. It has taken me nearly 6 month to regain some of my skills that were once easy.
I honestly felt like I wanted to quit being a movement teacher. It has humbled me to the point of seeing how much our identities are wrapped up in our goals through our egos. I’m reminded again, happiness is not a destination but the willingness to evolve with gratitude & humbleness of knowing the only constant is change.
It is also teaching me that we need to remember confidence, success/motivation is built through the act of not being certain & showing up. We need to continue to put in effort to the outcomes we desire & adopt consistent actions/self discipline towards our goals to become the person we want. We choose to become the person we are by how we show up. Motivation is in fact momentum when we regulate our systems & we feel rewarded for the way we do something. What makes us worthy of our goals & receiving is the giving & doing we put towards ourselves, goals & life each day.
I share all this because being human is funny. On social media we all admire everyone or judge everyone. We all think it is easy for others compared to us. The truth is nobody has it easy. And all this I share & these stories make me who I am. But to insist on only these negative stories is to flatten my experience & to overlook the many other stories that formed me. The single story creates stereotypes, and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete. They make one story become the only story.
Cheers to being human and breaking, growing, struggling, sharing and remembering we are not alone. Thank you for all your support Rhy xo

Shame what does this word make you feel?
Limiting beliefs about ourselves can hurt us because we continue with a lack of self love, disconnection to all we are and do. In turn we have a half hearted experience of life. This in turn leaves us disempowered to change our lives.
The truth is your body is a sacred temple of pleasure - your senses are the key to open life up in ways of magic intimacy to yourself, experiences and others.
Teaching naked yoga has changed the way I view my body. It has changed the way sexuality may have once disempowered to be too scared to share. To realise sexuality is very different to naked yoga. And true intimacy does not have a look it has a feel.
It has taught me sensual when broken down has two meanings:
Sensuous and Sensual. Sensual can take on overtones of sexuality and can be used in contexts of physical intimacy. Sensuous however refers to sensuality in terms of anything pleasant like listening to a calming sound, touching something that feels soft like this bedding, moving to music that makes you lose control or eating something delicious that makes you go mmmm.
Sharing my naked yoga and fitness has become about the deeper concepts of self love. For all those who have seen my body naked and loved or disrespected. I know deep down now that the issue isn't the way the world reacts to it or judges me. The issue is how I connect to it and judge myself.
When I go to the dr and have been physically checked not once has my nakedness been the issue or been limited. It has always shown that health is from the inside and my outside body is a byproduct of my health from within.
I know some may know my body from head to toe but that does not mean they know me. My body is not who I am. Sure it is a reflection of the work I do in movement, genetics and also what I eat. However, to see someone naked does not tell you anything about them. If they are kind, headstrong, have pain etc.
Teaching naked movement has helped me to drop the stigmas of my body that made me want to hide my body, feel depressed and not do things and also limit me in my day to day life.
The human body to me is fascinating because so much of what we see is stigmatised and made assumptions of how to feel well in our bodies comes with what we feel and how we connect.
If beauty was the reason for good mental health, fitness and long term healthy sexual relationships. Then Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would still be together because they are stunning specimens. Amy Winehouse & Kurt Cobain etc would not commit suicide or have had drug issues.
Because the truth is the human body is not what is causing us issues, naked or clothed. It is our thoughts and definitions and what is happening within that does.
If you truly want to be fit and healthy, work on your mental health, have a healthy sex life and partnership you will need to start creating fitness from the inside. And moving naked will drop the sexual overtones. It can still make us feel pleasure or be turned to see another body we desire but it will be the way you learn to appreciate, respect and build self love more and we can respect others rather than judge them for their nakedness.
You will also learn some of the most sensual experiences you'll ever have will not reside with the most beautiful or naked experiences they will reside with you being connected to you, the experience and the others in it.
I could talk all day why sensuality is good for us...but it is honestly not until we do or feel life the practices that it makes sense. We can get caught up in all that blocks us, but it is not until we move and drop into the bodies that we understand the importance. That is why I teach naked yoga and fitness.
Do you know the feeling of 100 sit ups just for getting abs or walking till your feet are sore but never noticing the real joy?
The fitness industry focuses on: What does your body look like? Why are you not as fit or look like them, when they have done the same program. Comparison is the theft of joy.
It also focuses on what needs to change... how can your body be better? How can you get deeper into a pose or lose weight or attain a number? This is not okay and I refuse to be a part of it.
When darkness hit for me I had to relearn self love, I had to learn joy in life again and now I teach it the way I learned it. Sensual movement empowers you to feel the body you are in, own it, appreciate and nourish the body you have and see it with love. Savouring every moment and feeling it all. Connecting to yourself to a level that you forget time. Fitness becomes a byproduct not the only purpose.
To share my teachings is not about the body but about you learning wholeness and love and pleasure within you.
Join me top tiers p@treon link in socials for naked yoga, fitness and dance and connect to yourself on a level that you forget time and fitness becomes a byproduct not the only purpose.
New all NUDE Kettlebell Workout up on P@treon
Maybe your gym has an entire rack of kettlebells just waiting for you to get swinging. Or you’re working out from home and you’ve got a trusty kettlebell by your side in your living room. Wherever you’re training with kettlebells, you’re bound to get stronger, become a better overall athlete, and fight off sticking points in your barbell lifts.
Despite there being no “right” way to hold a kettlebell, these implements offer unparalleled training advantages. Unlike a barbell, most kettlebell exercises will generally force you to contribute evenly with both sides of your body. And unlike a dumbbell, the nature of the load itself tends to recruit more of your stabilizer muscles.
From circuits to flows, you can work with kettlebells in more ways than you think to develop power or improve your cardiovascular endurance. In case you’re not convinced, here are seven big benefits of working with kettlebells, and how to add them properly to your program.
Benefits of Kettlebell Training:
Low-Impact Cardio
Full-Body Strength
Coordination and Mobility
Training Versatility
Fight Imbalances and Asymmetries
Power Development
Grip Strength
Low-Impact Cardio
While traditional cardiovascular exercises like jogging can be a huge asset to strength athletes, they can put a lot of strain on the body. Adding hours on the treadmill to your training might not be the most effective cardio option if your recovery isn’t perfectly catered to that plan. Since your feet remain planted during even the most explosive kettlebell moves, you won’t be placing the same repetitive strain on your joints and connective tissue as running will.
Many kettlebell exercises are ballistic in nature, making them ideal for low-impact cardiovascular training. Kettlebell circuits and flows don’t take up a lot of time, are performed at submaximal loads, and will place a lot of positive demand on your cardio system. You can boost your endurance in a lot less time. The more efficient your engine, the more volume you’ll likely be able to handle in your other training.
