2022-05-19 21:53:51 +0000 UTC View PostHere is what’s next. I haven’t competed in a full competition since Dec 2018. I’ve never been able to bench 500 in a competition. I’ve never gotten to add to the state record that I still hold on bench after 5 years of competing in the sport. I haven’t barbell back squatted in nearly 3 years. These are the things I’ll think about when I don’t feel like training, when I don’t feel like eating, when I don’t want to do my mobility drills. I’ve tasted failure and It’s a nasty taste. I like the taste of domination. If you dominate your goals, you will dominate all that you truly can.

Words can not express how happy I am to be pain free and not live in constant agony from the autoimmune disease I have. Chronic pain causes us to not be ourselves, attacking us both physically and mentally. I will likely not live to be 90 but I’m ok with having the scars from doing the things I love to the highest level while I am capable.

Experience in the task and the physical tools to facilitate will allow you to know exactly how things should go. Accidents do happen but they are rare and happen much more to the less experienced and physically prepared.

Still came in the middle of the pack with 2 presses done. Few people couldn’t do the log. Many people couldn’t do the stone.

2022-05-15 03:04:33 +0000 UTC View Post3rd place of of 12 in the heavyweight division. Weighed in at 266. Won 1 of the 6 events (Hercules hold), 4th heaviest overall deadlift made (650lbs), did worst on the event I thought I’d be best at and best at the one I thought I’d have most issues on.
