♥ A Personal Favorite ♥ Discovering & dancing to this song marked a transition from "I'm going to do a cheeky, clever tease" to "I feel the eroticism and aliveness in my body, let me move with that." A huge and important shift from catering to an external view to feeling my body fully. I'm so happy you suggested this song, Roads by Portishead, (several years ago, when I was trying out camming for the first time.)

Did you know I first decided to grow out my pubic hair because of cam? I'd always been waxing before that, and felt that was the "right" "better" thing to do, due to social standards. I did a poll (with only 2 options, silly me), and people were incredibly passionate about seeing me with all of my natural hair. Bare lips & pubic hair is my favorite now.

♥ A Personal Favorite ♥ I received a few comments about how watching this dance to Nude by Radiohead felt emotional for them and I feel touched by that. I watch this and I feel an intensely bittersweet sense of aliveness... I often see a subtle painfulness in my expression - not that the pain is bad, it just is. I often get so immersed in the song that I don't really "know" what I am feeling or doing, in that I don't have /words/ to describe the feeling or recall the movements. It is only afterwards, in reviewing the video, or finding deep scratches in my back, that I start to get an idea.

♥ A Personal Favorite ♥ I have to be honest - I often don't feel very good about how the dance looks while I'm dancing. I feel embodied, but I have a lingering idea that it may be interesting to me and boring/repetitive for the viewer. It is very powerful for me to review my videos after, to be able to be engaged by my own engagement in the movement. I ♥ the first moments here... the brief suspension of my leg, the slow intentionality of arms coming in front of my face, the lingering eye contact.
