Check your INBOX NOW new PPV This is me taking a shower this morning. I trained for 2 hours. Followed by some deep backbend work. After 2 hrs of training I was done and wanted nothing more than a good shower to wash the sweat and burning exhaustion away. This shower is simply a shower until you place your perspective on it. What do you see is the question? Then understanding that is okay but also knowing for me it was just a shower and knowing that is okay too. A shower, a conversation, the food we eat, a touch is all neutral until our imaginations take hold which is so often what happens on social media and that is when it transcends into other meanings within us and others. The conversation then becomes not if how we see it is wrong or right or others, but more about understanding that there are a million different ways to see it and be compassionate and respectful to all so, we can build better connections to ourselves and others. We socialize sexuality through our imagination. And the central agent of the erotic act is our creativity, our imagination, or ability to renew, our ability to anticipate… We can envision the act without having to actually enact it. And it is the cultivation of pleasure for its own sake.“ Esther Perel So much of Social media is just this act of imagination and creating a story in our head from something that is originally neutral until we place our imagination on it. Eroticism implies sex as a vibrant and transcendent experience. Perel calls it “a place you go inside yourself with another.” The fuel for this transcendent travel is one’s own individual creativity. And it’s through the exploration of erotic imagination that fantasies arise. Your boundaries become widened and new realities are forged. Thus, the focus of eroticism and erotic intelligence is not “doing sex” but rather “the meaning of sex.” Transcendence is that meaning. When we view this world we transcend into our own world within our mind. Sexuality is a big part of our play as adults. We upgrade from playing with toys (innocent play) to erotica play (once you know that your mind never goes back fully). What we must remember is we all hold different reasons for being here and different views for everything we see. There is no wrong or right. The difficulty in this world that is so black and white is to understand this and find ways to harmonize our connections even though they are different so we do not hold invisible barriers to each other and create hate and fear amongst ourselves. Whilst also being open to the views we do not see and that to be a whole human all our feelings need to be accepted and addressed. However, we all must remember we all have a different ways to feel, see, imagine and be human. Remember this and practice compassion and observation and this in turn will create a world of less shame and fear and more wholeness and compassion. There are thousands of planes over the United States at any moment. While you may only see the occasional plane pass by overhead, that doesn't mean the sky isn't full of them. In fact, according to the FAA, there are 5,000 planes in the air over the United States at any moment in time, and more than 8,000 flying across the globe

Happy Hump Day The glute muscles are a muscle group consisting of the gluteus Maximus the largest and thereby strongest muscle in the body, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus and tensor fasciae latae muscles. They are found in the gluteal region, an area overlaying the posterior aspect of the pelvis girdle and primal to the femur. These muscles stabilize the upper body and pelvis and aid in locomotion and extend the hip. The gluteal muscles act on the hip joint, mainly to facilitate abdüction and extension of the thigh but some also assist in addüction, external rotation and internal rotation of the thigh. Glute max is an important muscle for activities in day to day living, displays of explösive athletic performance and stability of certain joints in the body. It is our most powerful hip extensor. If the glute med and minimus were not cöntracting properly, the pelvis would drop towards the opposite side and the trunk would lean towards the opposite side. This is because the glute medius and minimus act to stabilize the pelvis. Eg. In Single leg stance which accounts for 30% of our normal gait. What is your fav glute exercise? One of the things I've always worked hard to do is never tre..

One of the things I've always worked hard to do is never treat anyone transactionally instead build connections and a community like here. So often it is hard in a world that is transactional and busy. However my mother always taught me to treat others well. I know I am not for everyone and I know some people only want one thing sometimes and I cannot provide everything to everyone. But I always take time to chat and build connections with people thinking that it is real and the next day they are gone without a word. I am a sensitive soul. I have had to develop a tougher skin. However I still feel it all the same. I view us as a community and we can all learn and grow from each other. You make a difference in my life every day with your support to pay bills, support my daughter through school, support my aging parents and so much more. It is a ripple effect that you may not see but it reaches far greater than a post, me or my immediate loved ones. I have also been able to raise awareness for my friend's daughter with cancer she is in remission for the 3rd time and my yoga teacher's wife who has just gone into remission from cancer. I feel sometimes we often forget this ripple effect because we cannot see it. When I watch people go and come I have to say I know it is part of life and being online but sometimes it is hard not knowing what I didn't do well to satisfy them, if I could do something more I would try. Simply knowing I was just a transaction for some who wanted something more and did not get it and you can be simply replaced is a hard fact of life. I think we as humans however, need to remember we all impact each other and think about that too for the good and bad and make more purpose with our connections. It reminds of an ecosystem as it is a community of living things like we are. So often we forget the impact we have on others and how we can unbalance each other but how we can also balance each other all by the way we work together or not. Human Microbiome: Your Body Is an Ecosystem What Is an Ecosystem? An ecosystem is a community of living things. The living things in an ecosystem interact with each other and with the non-living things around them. One example of an ecosystem is a forest. Every forest has a mix of living things, like plants and animals, and non-living things, like air, sunlight, rocks, and water. The mix of living and nonliving things in each forest is unique. It is different from the mix of living and nonliving things in any other ecosystem. You Are an Ecosystem The human body is also an ecosystem. There are trillions of tiny organisms living in and on it. These organisms are known as microbes and include bacteria, viruses, and fungi. There are more of them living on just your skin right now than there are people on Earth. And there are a thousand times more than that in your gut! All the microbes in and on the human body form communities. These communities are part of the ecosystem of the human body. Together, all of these communities are known as the human microbiome. No two human microbiomes are the same. Because of this, you are a unique ecosystem. There is no other ecosystem like your body. Humans & Microbes Microbes have been around for more than 3.5 billion years. That makes them the oldest form of life on Earth. For the past six million years they have been evolving together with humans. As they have changed over time, microbes and humans have formed complex relationships with each other. Humans need microbes to stay healthy, and microbes need the environments provided by the human body to survive. Different species of microbes live in different places in and on the human body. Some live on the cool, dry skin of your knee. Others live in the warm, wet darkness inside your mouth. Wherever they are, they have evolved to live there. Just like the plants and animals in a forest, the different kinds of microbes in and on your body interact with each other. They need these interactions in order to eat, grow, and reproduce. One way they interact is by competing. They compete with each other for space and resources, and some of this competition is helpful to us. For example, bacteria on our skin compete with the fungus that causes athlete’s foot and keeps the fungus from infecting us. Microbes also keep other organisms from entering the human microbiome. How Do Scientists Study the Human Microbiome? How do scientists find out which organisms make up a human microbiome? They do experiments. Here is an example. A scientist named James Meadow put people in a “clean room.” Microbes are everywhere, but this room was as free of microbes as possible. Scientists closed off the room and killed the microbes that were in it. They filtered the air to keep microbes from coming in from the outside. Then they divided the space into two rooms. One stayed empty. People entered the other room, one at a time. After each person left, the scientists took a sample of the air in the rooms. They repeated this experiment many times. They could tell not only which room had been occupied but also which person had been in the room. They would measure “clouds” of bacteria that had come off people’s bodies in the room. They could identify different people by these “clouds” because every person’s microbiome is unique. Scientists are just beginning to understand what roles bacteria play in human health. Some kinds of bacteria benefit us, like gut bacteria that help us digest food. Others harm us, like bacteria that cause disease. Many do not benefit or harm us at all. In fact, most species are either harmless or beneficial to humans. If bacteria are harmless, scientists call them commensal. If they are beneficial, scientists call them mutualistic. Sometimes bacteria that are harmless or beneficial in one place can cause problems in another. The Human Microbiome and Antibiotics Scientists are still learning about the balance among different bacterial communities as they study how microbes work in our bodies. One way they have learned about bacteria is by studying fungi. Fungi have been competing with bacteria for millions of years. During that time, fungi evolved the ability to produce chemicals that kill bacteria. By studying fungi, scientists learned how to make these antibacterial chemicals themselves and turn them into antibiotic drugs. These drugs have saved millions of lives by killing harmful bacteria. However, they also kill helpful bacteria. Products like antibacterial hand sanitizers have a similar effect on a patch of skin. They kill both the good and bad bacteria there. Studies suggest that the increasing use of antibiotics in the United States has made our microbiomes less diverse. There seem to be fewer kinds of bacteria living in them than there used to be. Being Healthy Means Having a Balanced Microbiome Scientists now understand that a diverse and balanced microbiome is important to a person’s health. We need that diversity and balance for a strong immune system. Some scientists think that babies who do not have much contact with microbes get more allergies, asthma, eczema, and other health problems. Studies also suggest that the microbiome plays a role in obesity and depression. In fact, the microbiome is so important that it is like another organ. It is a part of the body that serves necessary functions, just as the skin and kidneys do. Remember, the human body is an ecosystem. We need to preserve ecosystems in nature, and that includes our own. We need to preserve the human microbiome. Join me for yoga high above the city of Bangkok. There are two different angles of this BTS I found on my computer and have never used. 1 from above and one from the ground up... Watch as I open my hips, shoulders & legs as the busy world moves below me.  Being at one with the world is one of the greatest gifts. If we think that being fit and healthy is about a certain look, like what our body shape is, more or less muscles, lower body fat, we are no longer creating health and fitness, we are riding the self objectification and a journey to get no satisfaction. That is our culture we live in today. All about self objectification with the filters, video and photo editing, selfies culture, best post on social media. What is human anymore, how do we find ourselves and goals that serve us not make us self objectify? It is wonderful to feel good and love the look of the skin we are in. Do not get me wrong. We must nourish, cherish, and respect our beautiful temple our body. However in this hyped up social media and visual world it is even more important than ever to let go of the shackles of shame, comparison, expectations that hinder us and self objectification we do to ourselves. This is not a sign of fitness, health or care.  This is a sign of disconnection and the ego.  It will only lead down a path that does not end with self love or respect. In our world we've always chased body types and looks. For women: 1910s: Hourglass figure with cinched waist. 1920s: Thin with no curves. 1930s: Curved body with slim waist. 1940's: Taller and squarer figure. 1950's: Larger hips and fuller bust. 1960s: Ultra-slim without curves. 1970's: Small hips and flat tummy. 1980s: Tall with athletic figure. 1990s: Extremely thin, waifish figure 2000's: Toned slim body 2010s: Hourglass figure with full curves Will just being ourselves become popular? Only if we choose it so and create a health and fitness industry and social media world that supports this.  We are the change. It is okay to admire other body shapes, but can we do that from a place of love for others and ourselves knowing we are beautiful just as we are. Health and fitness is about how we FEEL... The truth is life is about a feel in everything we do. That is why so many of us are unhappy. We are chasing self objectification, keeping up with the jones's or anything other than what makes us feel good. When was the last time you set a goal for you, you took a photo that wasn't picture perfect and posted, you worked out simply to enjoy rather than change something, you followed a diet not because you want to lose weight but because you wanted to feel well? Social media does the same thing as the fitness industry markets to us.. We base our likes and dislikes off not knowing a person or how they make us feel but how their pictures and posts look and how many likes they have. But we cannot measure a person's awesomeness, life challenges or successes, friendship qualities and values by a look/number and nor can we measure health and fitness by it. If we continue this root in health and fitness and social media and life. It is very likely we will never feel joy, be satisfied with our bodies and enjoy our journey and one life we have. When people ask me how I have successfully worked on my health and fitness for 10 years. How I keep smiling through my challenges. Firstly I say it is a lifestyle, it is not a destination. My looks are byproducts of the work I put in. Secondly my routine is ever changing and majority of the time brings me joy.  Thirdly I make sure that I do things to feel well first. I If you choose to do things more with a feel, how would your health and fitness regime look like? What would your goals and home life look like? How would life feel more importantly than basing it off a look? For those who asked a bit about my tattoos … On days in which you look at the world and see weeds, please remember this world is also full of gardens of hope and love - promise to also remember how much beauty and love has also been sewn on this world and how many hearts have been touched by the seeds of hope and love. Sometimes we forget we all are just living and living means we sway between the suffering and the joys within us. We also often forget we are not alone in this. You see no human that ever lived lives perpetually in bliss or suffering....We are all just trying to find our harmony as we dance between dark and light.

Opening our hearts and doors full shoot on p@treon link in s..

Opening our hearts and doors full shoot on p@treon link in socials Sometimes I wonder what world we live in.... Strangers tell us because of our bodies we are exhibitionists if we show them. Yet we celebrate kids and bäbies bodies from the beginning. Then it seems as soon as we come of age and put sexuality into the picture we no longer can respect another's body or can see them as non sexual as well as sexual. No wonder adults are so challenged and children grow up feeling so lost, there are a lot of mixed messages. From being nurtured and loved for the body we were born with. To then be denied, shamed and hidden is the next step of evolution because we as a society have not managed to find harmony and an understanding that sexuality coexists not only with the body but sensuality as well. Women come of age and are often shamed but sought after for their bodies. What a confusing place to be. When women become pregnant social media platforms allow nudity like instagram but as soon as women are no longer pregnant they are shamed and denied. Men and women both have nipples yet womens nipples are shamed on social media and public places. Men have nipples because nipples develop in the womb before embryos become distinctly male or female. So by the time a Y chromosome kicks in to distinguish a fetus as male, the nipples have already secured their place. Areolas are the dark circles of skin around the nipples. They vary in size and color and can change over time due to aging, hormonal changes, and weight gain. While females generally have larger areolas than males, the range of potential functions is more or less the same. At birth, boys' and girls' nipples and breasts look alike. It's only at puberty, under the influence of hormones, when they begin to change. The nipples of both enlarge but female nipples enlarge more. At the same time, the ducts of the male breasts shrink while female breasts enlarge and remodel. Why are we creating so much challenge for ourselves with stories that separate us and lead us to believe things are good or bad when they are simply human? In a world where we've made sexuality all about pörn we've forgotten that it is a beautiful gift of pleasure, self care, intimacy between ourselves and others and a way to create our future generations. In a world where so many are starved of sexuality it has become a selling point and we've forgotten nothing that is sold is ever as valuable as what is nourished and respected and earned. Sexuality is first and foremost about connection if you want to experience the richness of it and depth at least. Otherwise it is simply a human need and drive, animalistic you could say. A basic human and animal function for a healthy being. When we lose our sex drive we actually generally have health issues. When men have erectile dysfunction it is also caused by health issues. Sexuality is an important healthy part of being human when included in a respectful and healthy manner. As we are humans we need to do better and be smarter about how we see the human body and sexuality to make a healthy, less dangerous and kinder world for us all to live in and for ourselves to live in our bodies. When I lived in Saudi Arabia. There was something happening at that time many years ago. It may have changed. I hope it did. Just like many other things I have come to know in life I hope they will also change in life in many of our cultures. Going back to when I lived in Saudi Arabia. Women worked there as sex workers hired by Saudi men (not legal) and women were also räped like many places of the world sadly. In this culture when I was there men were not allowed to have sex until marriage. Some waited a lifetime for their mothers to set up their marriage. Many could not handle the wait. I remember being in a 7/11 in Saudi. A lady was fully clothed from head to toe. You could only see her eyes. She had beautiful curves showing in her full black dress. I watched as one Saudi man eyed her up and down like she was wearing nothing or she was in a bikini. Women do not have to be naked to be admired for their beauty. When men are desiring women they desire women not just because they are naked. Sadly because men had a lack of sex until married this caused large issues like räpe and illegal protestation (like many countries). What was worse was that the women who were the victims of this were the ones punished by death by stoning some said. I am not sure of the full details as my heart was broken hearing and I did not want to discuss it further. I also remember when leaving to go to Saudi and live. My good friend also told me if I get räped they stone me to death. It's my fault not the man's fault. I was left speechless with a friend's sport and this story... I am still speechless thinking this was my intro into saudi from a friend making me feel scared before I even went. What a world we live in. eh!?! I hope one day we can all grow and open our minds to new ways to remember that the body is not the issue. It is our stories and the way we treat each other that is. That sexuality is not an issue, it is how we use it and treat each other through it that is. I hope one day we can be more human with the things that we are born with and a part of our nature. We can have more difficult conversations rather than project, judge and shame each other and strangers. But most importantly I hope that all of us can just be able to live a little more deeply unapologetically and kindly towards ourselves and others.

CHECK YOUR INBOX What Poor Hip Mobility Looks And Feels Like How exactly does sitting a lot mess with your hips? For starters, the hips weaken, which limits the pelvis’ natural range of motion. This puts more stress on the lower back and hip joint itself. Super-tight hip flexors, which are a group of muscles that surround your pelvis, spine, and upper legs. This group includes the rectus femoris (your quads), psoas major (a muscle that extends from your lower spine through your pelvis), and iliacus (a muscle that passes through your pelvis). When your hips don’t (and can’t) move through their full range of motion, you’ve got what the pros call poor hip mobility. When the hip flexors are tight, it will pull the spine in a more lordotic, or hyper-extended or overarched, position. This leads to all kinds of issues up and down the spine and body. Yep, that means that in addition to muscle tightness, the hip issues caused by a sedentary lifestyle (or, at least, a sedentary job) can ultimately lead to serious injuries like herniated discs and torn labrums (cartilage in the hip joint). If you’ve got poor hip mobility, you’ll probably notice it most when moving and working out. Proper hip mobility is a necessity for functional mobility, which includes squatting, bending, and lunging. If you have poor mobility in your hips, other parts of the body naturally pick up the slack to keep you moving, which isn’t ideal. Other joints, including the back, knees, shoulders, ankles, and neck, take on more stress than they’re designed for; it’s all connected. 4 Signs You Might Have Tight Hips How can you really tell that your hip mobility is off? Look out for these tell-tale signs. 1. You Have Lower Back Pain The first thing folks with overly tight hips notice when strength training, or doing really any physical activity, is periodic lower back pain. If your hip flexors are tight, they can become easily fatigued and irritated, which can result in lower back spasms and soreness from overuse. 2. You Frequently Get Hamstring Injuries Tight hammies? Those might signal poor hip mobility. Generally, when the hips don’t have full mobility, the surrounding muscles, particularly the hamstrings, tend to get tight and shorten. 3. You Can’t Perform A Womb Squat Try this test with the womb squat. This exercise is excellent at testing a person’s hip flexion, along with their knee and ankle mobility. Here’s how to do it: Start in a standing position, preferably barefoot or in flat shoes, with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and toes turned out slightly. Sink your glutes toward the ground, pushing your knees outward. Go as low as you can (the lower you get, the more your knees may want to come in, so use your elbows to press your knees out). If you can hold a squat in which your thighs have lowered beyond being parallel to the floor for at least 30 seconds, your hip mobility is solid. If not, then not so much. 4. You Fail The Ankle-Over-The-Knee Test Another simple test you can do anywhere to test hip mobility: the ankle-over-knee test. To do it, start in a sitting position with both feet flat on the ground and toes facing forward, suggests Walding. Lift and cross your left ankle over the right leg, resting your left ankle on top of the right knee. If both knees are at the same height, your hips have relatively solid mobility. If one knee is higher than the other, there’s a good chance your hips are tight. How To Improve Your Hip Mobility If you’ve got an achy back, tight hammies, or fail either two tests, you’ve got to show those hips some TLC. Your first order of business? Strengthening the muscles surrounding the hip. Hip mobility is probably second to hip strength in terms of [staving off injuries],. “The fastest improvements in hip mobility come from progressing through a full range of motion in weightlifting movements. Go to exercises to build hip mobility: squats, stiff-leg deadlifts, Bulgarian split squats, and walking lunges, all of which strengthen your hips. Ideally, you’ll incorporate these into regular strength training sessions at least twice or three times per week. Sometimes, we don’t get what we want because we are meant fo..

Sometimes, we don’t get what we want because we are meant for things far greater than we’d ever let ourselves believe. Sometimes, we fail not because we are lost or inept or in some other way lacking, but because some deeper knowing inside of us is beginning to take hold, and some greater vision is beginning to take shape, and instead of a life we can tolerate, we begin moving toward one we can’t get enough of. Instead of a consolation prize, we start preparing for the victory lap. Instead of believing that we are not enough because we could not thrive within what was not meant for us, we begin to realize that we are not meant to excel at a life that is not designed to make the most of who we most essentially are, what we most fundamentally love, what we are most inherently born to be. You are not behind for the ways in which life did not turn out the way you once wanted it to. The gap between where you are and where you most want to be will be filled by the person you become — and that is why we have dreams in the first place. Not so that we might arrive somewhere that is perfect, but that we will press up against the bounds that we think limit us and move beyond them. To see with crystalline clarity that we are limitless beyond even our own comprehension. That we are designed with the potential to fulfill what quietly inspires us, what motivates us, what interests us, what enlivens us, what awakens us in every sense. We don’t only have to grow, we also have to learn. We have to confront our shadows and our demons. We have to know the ways in which we are inclined to self-destruct. We have to understand what we do not want life to be before we can grasp what we do. Becoming the whole of who we are is not a matter of solely embodying the beautiful things in our hearts, but also befriending the hard ones. We reside, always, at the edge of everything — all of the past behind us, and all of the potential in front, and all of the doorways around. The humbling, the losing, the stopping, the releasing, the slowing and the stillness is just trying to give us the eyes to see. -Brianna Wiest
